Visiting Keukenhof last May 05, 2017

if you are a flower lover, this place is absolutely perfect for you..
Keukenhof is considered as “The Garden of Europe” since it is the world’s largest flower garden located in The Netherlands which covers 32 hectares and they plant approximately 7 million flower bulbs every year.
it was my first time to be in this place and honestly, I’m not a big fan of flowers (though I love nature in terms of Hiking, Swimming but I’m not a green thumb person)
I just wanted to visit this place as I heard lots of Asian is visiting this every Spring up to Summer.
As we parked our car, I heard Lots of Chinese people already taking pictures and talking towards each other.
It was a freezing day when we decided to visit the place but it was as crowded as summer.
We first took a parking ticket (so its not difficult for us to get one after exploring the place as more people is coming) parking ticket has a fixed price.
Then we bought tickets to enter the Keukenhof.

Ticket cost is 16 Euro per person and absolutely worth the price after entering the huge Flower Garden.
You will be amaze with all the flowers they have. From Tulips to Roses to Lily’s to orchids to daffodils (narcissus) to the landscapes and to the way they maintain the garden.

It was a promising place. I was filled with excitement and I feel like a fairy princess walking at every aisle of the garden.
My attention was captured by the Cherry Blossom tree. It was so magical as it was my dream to be under that tree. (It will be so romantic if you were on that place with your significant one.)

Some people are taking their photo shoot especially Chinese and Koreans. I was so jealous as they look like they are not bothered by the breeze of the cold wind.
There are some kiosk selling hotdogs, strawberries, ice cream (even if it was 11 degree),  and the famous poffertjes (Dutch mini pancakes)

if got hungry, worry free as they have restaurants inside where you can buy food while relaxing yourself with the view.
hey also have indoor garden where you can find a lots of different orchids colors, daffodils (narcisso) and hyacinth.

They also have this wedding area where your wife or special girl could take picture wearing a bride’s gown.
They have this romantic place too where you are free to take picture of yourself or with your partner in a cage with a sign “I love you to the moon and back”
And this “park like” area where you can sit, relax, take pictures, listen to a typical Dutch music and/or dance with the music. (some tourist do and it is so enjoying watching them dancing)

They also have souvenir shop inside where you can buy a variety of presents for your friends and or love ones. Me, I only bought ref magnet as it is my collection from every places I’ve been. They have mugs, bags, postcards, shirts, scarfs, throw pillow and many more with a keukenhof signatures and designs.

As I walk towards the every edge of the garden, I got so mesmerized with everything they have.

This place is ought to visit when you are planning to have a trip around Europe J
